Use Google Reader to read Blogs & Social Bookmarking
As a blogger, you not only need to update your blog, you also need to read other people blogs to get updates related to your niche.
I used to read the blogs site by keying in the URL or recall from the bookmarks at the Firefox or Internet Explorer. This method will take up fairly amount of my time.
Then I found a better way. Use Google Reader.
Google Reader can be found at
http://www.google.com/reader.
You will be asked to sign in using your Gmail account

Then you will see the following screen

At the Google Reader, it has a few features. One of the features is known as Subscriptions.
Basically it allows you to read the blog postings without going to the blog sites. It will also keep track of the items in the blogs that you have not read.
You can add many blogs here. It helps to save time as you only need to look through those blogs that have new items (unread items) at the Subscriptions column.
First you need to click on +Add a subscription. It will ask you for an URL.
Just key in the blog URL, it will appear at the Subscriptions column (at the bottom left column)
This method only displays the posting, not the complete blog site.
This meant if your blog readers use this method to read, they will not be seeing the banners on your blog. Less income, sigh!
Another feature that it has is similar to Social Bookmarking. It allows you to bookmark any URL & make it public. It allows you to post comment & tags to the URL.
I add my own URL in the Subscriptions. Then I click on my own posting to Share with Note. It allows me to post comment & tags.
It will appear at Your Stuff->Shared Items (left top column).
This is useful for bloggers to increase their readers and backlinks.
If you click on Home, you will see the Top Recommendations of other blogs.
Hope this posting helps you. Cheers

Good post. I be taught one thing more challenging on different blogs everyday. It can at all times be stimulating to read content from different writers and apply somewhat one thing from their store. I’d choose to make use of some with the content on my weblog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link in your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
